Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Canyon Lake Sunrooms & Patios handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a sunroom contractor in Canyon Lake, CA, and this site is where homeowners learn about our work and ask us to come out for an estimate.
It applies to every page of the site, from the home page to our service and city pages. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies. You can learn more about who we are on our About page.
Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to send us. When you fill out our contact form, that usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the project, and a description of the sunroom, patio cover or enclosure you have in mind. If you send photos of your patio or yard, we keep those with your request.
Our contact form is hosted by an outside form service, so the details you enter are sent through that service to us. We also keep notes from phone calls and emails so we have what we need when we follow up or come out to your house.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses analytics tools and cookies to understand how people use it. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember your visit.
These tools can record your browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and your general location based on your internet connection. We use this to see which pages help homeowners and which need work. We don't use it to identify you by name.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not remember your preferences.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, schedule an estimate, prepare a quote, plan and build your project, and follow up after the job is done. We use analytics information to keep the site working and make it easier to find what you need.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone so they can market to you.
Who we share it with
We share information only when it's needed to run the business or do your job. That includes the services that host our website, contact form and analytics, and the suppliers or trade partners who need project details to help complete your work.
We may also share information when the law requires it, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights and the safety of our customers and crew.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer your request, complete your project and stand behind our work afterward. We also keep records the law requires us to hold for tax, licensing or business purposes.
When we no longer need information for any of those reasons, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect it
We use reasonable steps to protect your information, such as limiting who on our team can see it and working with service providers that secure their systems. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details through the contact form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than an active project.
California residents may have additional rights under state law, including the right to know what personal information a business collects and how it's used, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We honor these requests for anyone who asks.
To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your identity before we make a change. If we have to keep something the law requires us to hold, we'll tell you.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, tools or the law change. The current version will always be on this page, and continuing to use the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, send us a message through our contact page or call (951) 579-7062. We're available Mon–Fri from 7 AM to 11 PM and Sat–Sun from 6 AM to 10 PM.
We reply within 1 business day, and we'll tell you what we found and what we've done about it.
